Patrick Sargent brings a valuable combination of corporate and entrepreneurial business experience to the renewable market. His 17 years of diverse professional experience incorporates pioneering work in the renewable energy industry, as well as the telecommunications and computer industries.
Currently, he is the President and Founder of Corona Solar Group, LLC. Corona Solar Group is a new type of company in the solar value chain. Corona Solar is a company founded on the foundation of providing financially and operationally sensible renewable energy alternatives to the southeast market.
Also, Patrick is on the Board of Directors for TenneSEIA. TenneSEIA is the Tennessee branch of the “Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA)” which is an industry leading solar, and renewable lobby group, dedicated to making renewable power in the United States a reality.
Currently, Patrick has been named to the "Board of Advisor's" for New Energy Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: NENE), a developer of SolarWindow™, capable of generating electricity on see-through glass and flexible plastic.
Previously, Patrick was the Head of Market Intelligence, and Governmental Relations, as well as the Head of Engineering Applications Technology for PV Cover at AGC Flat Glass North America. Patrick led the company to new heights in energy conservation, by generating funding totaling 1.5M dollars in renewable energy grants from the federal & state governments.
Patrick has a MBA from Kennesaw State University, as well as a double bachelor’s degree in mechanical, and Industrial engineering.
Patrick is considered also an accomplished speaker, and speaks regularly at various conferences and universities on the Solar Industry.
